Lost Sierra Food Project
Supports the local food system and community through food access, regenerative farm education, and job training. Provides education, outreach, workshops, and volunteer opportunities to families and local students. Holds the Rugged Roots summer camp for school age children.

Employment Services - California Work Opportunities and Responsibilities to Kids (CalWORKS)
Provides temporary financial assistance to family's who are seeking work and self sufficiency. Provides assistance to parents who are returning to school through Feather River College. See also, PCIRC CalWORKS Housing Support Program for housing assistance.

Other benefits programs at Social Services:
Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI) is a 100 percent state-funded program that provides monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, and disabled non-citizens (immigrants) who are not eligible for Supplemental Security Income/State Supplementary Payment (SSI/SSP) solely due to their immigration status. The amount of CAPI benefits is equivalent to the amount of SSI/SSP benefits.Â
Refugee Cash Assistance:
RCA is a cash assistance program for refugees who are not otherwise eligible for any other cash aid. RCA also includes employment and other social services to assist a refugee in becoming self-sufficient.
Populations that could be eligible for the RCA include:
Refugees
Asylees
Cuban/Haitian entrants
Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders
Afghan and Ukranian Parolees
Amerasians;AND
Certified Victims of Human Trafficking
RCA is available for up to 12 months from the date of admission to the U.S. in qualifying status, data of final grant of asylum, or date of certification by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) as a Victim of Trafficking.
Trafficking and Crime Victims' Assistance Program:
TCVAP is a cash assistance program for non-citizens of crime who need immediate services, and who are obtaining legal humanitarian status or assisting in the prosecution of a crime. This program supports victims of human trafficking who have not yet been certified by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), victims of domestic violence, and other serious crimes.

Feather River Adult School
