Welcome to First 5 Plumas!

Our vision is for all Plumas County children to thrive in supportive, nurturing and loving environments, enter school healthy and ready to learn, and become productive, well-adjusted members of society.

First 5 Plumas' mission is to provide a comprehensive system of early childhood development services, on a countywide basis, to all children prenatal to age five. Through the integration of health care, quality child care, and parent education, children will be provided with the support necessary to ensure that they are healthy, resilient, well adjusted, and ready to succeed when they enter kindergarten.

First 5 Plumas is working to create a better future for children and families in Plumas County with services that touch each child, ages 0 to 5, at each stage of their development.

Are you curious about your child's behavior or development?

Receive a bag filled with activities and materials to support your child's growth and development when you complete a screening. The contents of the bags will vary based on the age of your child and individual screening results. Delivery or a pickup location can be arranged when we contact you about screening results.
