Northstar Navigation Center Services

Provides counseling, case management, and advocacy by licensed therapy and certified drug and alcohol use disorders staff to PCIRC Northstar Navigation Center clients who require mental health therapy and substance use disorders counseling.

Plumas Crisis Intervention and Resource Center

Location:

Northstar Navigation Center provides a safe and supportive space for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Offers personalized support, including grief counseling, anger management, and AA/NA groups, to help people regain stability and independence. The Center connects individuals with essential resources, including housing assistance, healthcare, job training, and social services, including therapy and drug and alcohol services.

Grief Recovery Services

Provides education with a paraprofessional instructor about coping with grief, through group support, one-on-one help, and special sessions for adults to learn how to help children deal with loss. Fee for services.

This course provides education about coping with grief, with a paraprofessional instructor, through group support, one-on-one help, and special sessions for adults to learn how to help children deal with loss. Uses the Grief Recovery Method to create a safe space where people can talk about their feelings. Participants think about how they process their grief and learn new ways to heal and feel better. Fee for services.
